La Ludwigia Glandulosa es una planta acuática muy hermosa. Es una planta de crecimiento lento y requiere la adición de CO2 para crecer bien. Las hojas se vuelven de color verde si obtiene suficiente luz. Antiguamente se vendía como Ludwigia perennis.
